Ipswich Regent first opened its doors in 1929 and has since played host to thousands of musicians, comedians and entertainers, from the Beatles and Rolling Stones to the Royal Ballet and National Theatre.

Online bookings are subject to a minimum booking fee of £1.50 per ticket for professional productions, and £1.00 per ticket for amateur productions, please check the show information for full details. When booking through this website, this booking fee is included in the ticket price.

Customers are welcome to have their tickets posted at an administrative charge of £1.20 per transaction.
Un-posted paid for tickets will be held for collection at the Box Office until the day of the performance and then at the venue box office from 5.30pm.
Tickets purchased less than 7 days prior to a performance will be held at the box office for collection.
There is a call queuing system when lines are busy.
Payment may be made using MasterCard, Switch or Visa.

On performance days, the theatre's box office will be open two hours before the performance.
In person, ticket sales are subject to a booking fee.
If we are acting as a Ticket Agent, the booking fee applies on all methods of payment.
Tickets for most Regent Theatre and Corn Exchange events are also available in person from the Tourist Information Centre, St. Stephens Church, St. Stephens Lane, Ipswich. Open Monday to Saturday, 9.00am till 5.00pm.

Postal applications are dealt with on a first come, first served basis - it is advisable to contact the box office to check availability before sending in an application.
Please make cheques payable to Ipswich Borough Council.
Tickets may be posted to you for an additional fee of £1.20. Please include this in the total value of the cheque.

PARKING
Please leave plenty of time to park before a performance.
There is no parking at the theatre (except for a limited number of 'Blue Badge'/wheelchair spaces which must be prearranged with the theatre). There are a number of car parks and a limited number of street parking spaces in the vicinity of the theatre.
From Monday to Friday after 3pm you can park at Ipswich Borough Council-run car parks (Crown Street, Regent – Woodbridge Road, William Street, Upper Barclay Street, Cromwell Square and Portman Road) for just £1.
Other car parks that are convenient for the Regent are Tacket Street and Cox Lane run by NCP. These are not currently participating in the Quids In promotion but are only a few minutes walk from the theatre.

A car park map is also printed on the inside of the ticket wallet, issued when tickets are purchased.
Coaches are advised to drop passengers off at the bus stop opposite the Regent
Access
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
Customers purchasing a designated wheelchair space may park in the production vehicle area next to the theatre; please ask when purchasing tickets due to space limitation.
A disabled entrance is located via a long ramp to the left of the theatre entrance. Please push the entrance bell 'push pad' to gain access and enable Front of House staff to assist if required.
There is no passenger lift in The Regent Theatre.
To allow customers to access the Circle Lounge, a wheelchair lift has now been installed. Please note there is still no wheelchair seating in the Circle Auditorium.
A disabled toilet is located behind the Stalls in the Crush Hall.
CUSTOMERS WITH HEARING DIFFICULTIES
Some productions do not use amplification. Customers should notify the Box Office at the time of booking of hearing difficulties to enable the most appropriate seats to be allocated to them.
The Regent Theatre has an induction loop system. Please ask at the Box Office for details.
SIGHT IMPAIRMENT
Some touring companies/artists provide programme material in braille or large print. Please enquire at the Box Office.
BARS AND REFRESHMENTS
Bars are open one hour before the start of the production until the end of the last interval.
Drinks are not normally permitted in the auditorium for concerts or shows, with the exception of the boxes at the Regent Theatre.
An interval drinks ordering service is available for most productions.
Light confectionery and ice creams are usually available to customers 1 hour prior to the performance, and during any interval.
