Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds is delighted to welcome Immersion Theatre Company back following the success of 2018’s production of The Jungle Book, with their brand-new production of The Amazing Adventures of Pinocchio, now with a slightly amended performance schedule (Sun 7 & Mon 8 Apr, 3pm and 6pm performances).

Inspired by Carlo Collodi’s fantastical children’s book a brand new, larger-than-life musical adaptation of a much-loved classic. This magical story leaps off the page and onto the stage in a vibrant re-telling of Pinocchio’s extraordinary adventures. Packed with comedy, audience interaction, and a completely original score guaranteed to have you singing along from start to finish, this high energy musical promises to be the perfect treat for the whole family. You’ll have a whale of a time, no strings attached!

The performance schedule has been amended slightly, so the evening performances will now start at 6pm, instead of the previously advertised time of 6.45pm. The earlier start time is to help accommodate an earlier night sleep. All affected ticket holders have been contacted to advise them of the new times.

Immersion Theatre is a multi-award nominated production company founded by Stage One alumni, Rochelle Parry and James Tobias. Previous productions include Seussical the Musical at Southwark Playhouse (Christmas 2018) and critically-acclaimed UK tours of Peter Pan, The Jungle Book (which played to full houses at Theatre Royal in February 2018) Alice in Wonderland, Rapunzel, The Wizard of Oz, Wind in the Willows and many more.

The Amazing Adventures of Pinocchio has four performances at Theatre Royal, 3pm and 6pm on Sun 7 and Mon 8 Apr, with best availability for the evening performances. Tickets are on sale at the Box Office, call 01284 769505, book online at www.theatreroyal.org/shows/the-amazing-adventures-of-pinocchio/ or visit the theatre in person.
