See Make Do - a weekend of free arts activities
Our See Make Do weekend, 24th & 25th July, is packed full of our popular workshops for children, young people, and family bubbles to take part in, including puppet making, carnival dance, electronic music making, and technical sound and lighting.
We also have a free digital sound installation and performance called Distant Drums, which tells the story of Reggae Sound System culture. Or maybe you want to watch our free puppetry show What Happened to You?
There will also be a selection of free drop-in arts and crafts activities available outside in Theatre Square across both days! Young people must be accompanied by an adult for drop-in activity.
All of our workshops and activities will be delivered with a number of covid-safe measures in place.
Identity: Spoken word…. Discover the tools and techniques to help you create a piece of spoken word exploring themes surrounding identity.
Puppetry play….Join us as a family to make your own puppet and learn how to bring it to life!
And lots more…
